Book Quote Challenge – Day 2

Thank you again to cuppacritiques and ajoobacatsblog for nominating me for this challenge. Seeing that today is Valentine’s Day, I decided to share quotes from my OTP, Malec ❤ ❤ ❤

The rules:

Post for three consecutive days
Pick three quotes per day
Challenge three different bloggers per day

First quote:

The Course of True Love [and First Dates] (The Bane Chronicles #10) by Cassandra Clare

“I’m—sorry about being a lousy date,” Alec muttered.

“What are you talking about?” Magnus asked. “You’re a fantastic date. You’ve only been here ten minutes, and I already got half of your clothes off.”

Second quote:

What to Buy the Shadowhunter Who Has Everything (And Who You’re Not Officially Dating Anyway) (The Bane Chronicles #8) by Cassandra Clare

“He knew Alec enough by now to know the conflicting impulses that warred in him. He was conscientious, the kind of person who believed that the others around him were so much more important than he was, who already believed he was letting everybody down. And he was honest, the kind of person that was naturally open about all he felt and wanted. Alec’s virtues had made a trap for him; these two good qualities had collided painfully. He felt he could not be honest without disappointing everyone he loved. It was a hideous conundrum for him. It was as if the world had been designed to make him unhappy.”

Third quote:

City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare

“So I’m your first ever Shadowhunter, huh?” Alec said when they separated at last.
“You’re my first so many things, Alec Lightwood,” Magnus said.”

I nominate:

Kaitlin from Next Page Please
